The Association of Pharmacy Managers of Toronto and Area Hospitals established MetroDIS in February 1982 to provide drug information services to Toronto and surrounding area hospitals.

Recently, the service has expanded to community and health-related organizations across Ontario (e.g., family health team, provincial government).

MetroDIS is an independent, non-profit service, financially supported by the membership. MetroDIS receives no public funding. 

• Full membership (unlimited drug information questions and website access) is available to Canadian health-related institutions

• Website-only subscriptions are also available
